scarlet-knight:

grieversxpride started following you:

“If it isn’t the fellow with the whimsical artillery. I would like to see its tactics, I believe I have the proper armor to counteract its abilities…. well, I don’t quite know its abilities..” The last part was more of a mumble, not sure if the other had heard. The continuos silence between them prompted the mage mage to finish the conversation.

“You seem like a man who values his time and would see this activity as frivolous, or am I mistaken?”

Settling steel hues on the woman whom had approached him, so he narrowed his gaze in the slightest while his arms crossed just over his chest. There was the subtle shift of his weight as he regarded her almost calculatingly, but the grating assumptions of her words were simply a waste of breath. She expressed interest in his weapon, but she was not the first. Such distant observations were familiar to him and the gunblader didn’t see it fit to engage in any form of training just to sate their curiosity. Much unlike his rival counterpart, he wasn’t up for giving away such accessible information about himself or said weapon because it only served as a weakness if they figured out the mechanics.

Not only that, but he had no idea who this woman was and if that was the only reason she approached him, then it was best she just turn shoulder and walk away. “You’re not mistaken on that,” He offered roughly in that deep baritone he possessed, lifting his head with an indifference. “I’m not here to sate your curiosity, if that’s what you’re asking,” He then amended in conclusion. Any tactical training or sparring matches were welcomed, but not for the intentions she posed to him.

princess-rinoa asked,

First impression? It doesn't hurt to mention some of the things I've already said. When I first saw you, I was intimidated by how amazing of a roleplayer you are and your writing is fantastic. You are one of the people here that inspires me to do my best. I really look up to you. :)

outofcharacter. Well, there’s no reason whatsoever to be intimidated — I’ll say that as many times as I have to. It’s always interesting to know of those who look up to me, and you write just as beautifully as well. Even if we’ve not interacted much, I’ve been reading your writing the chances I catch it on the dash. So keep up your own inspiration and keep doing your best, it really shows out.

jynxtsilevon asked,

Although I might be late to the party, when I see your url, I remember that you were the first non FFVII player to patiently explain what I didn't know so that we could rp together. Your writing is wonderful and, from what little I know (and you know how that is), you play Squall very well. I've enjoyed our rps together between Squall and Elfe, even if she's a trouble maker and I can't keep up. Thank you

outofcharacter. Ahah, well - I don’t think it’s ever too late to join the party, really. Thank you for taking the time to send this to me and also for your welcome back. It’s much appreciated, though my apologies for being so late in answering this. And, well, there’s never not enough time in the day to patiently explain something like that to enable the role play. Your Elfe is wonderful and I’ve really enjoyed what we’ve had going with one another.

outofcharacter. Well, not that it was intentionally meant to please your eyeballs —

lureofthesea asked,

Usually when I see your url, I grin viewing your commentary--Squall prefers to be off to the side of any shenanigans but will get involved if the situation necessitates such action. So I enjoy the laconic observations and avoidance of magic anons (heh like earlier this week.) I also enjoy your writing but you have prior commitments on your time and energy right now. Your fans are still here!

outofcharacter. Oh hoh. We’ve got someone grinning at my commentary. I really need to take the time to thank everyone for their patience with me. This is such a stiff muse and character that I’ve had my enjoyment in trying to feel out another character — which I’ve been really having fun with, so to speak. I just need a break from here because there are some things that have just become so mechanical and I dislike feeling like that when portraying such a magnificent character.

heir-to-chaos asked,

[I feel a renewal of confidence in my role playing, because this blog is the very reason I started in the first place, Griever-mun.]

outofcharacter. A renewed confidence? I’m honored to incite something like that. It’s good to know that someone was inspired to create their own account and begin in something like this. I’ve had a lot of fun working with it and I encourage everyone else to seek their own enjoyment, too. It can be a hassle at times when drama comes up, which is why it’s best to avoid those situation. Hopefully you’re enjoying your time with role playing. Make the best of it.

obscureroyalty asked,

ooc: First impression of you, I think you're such a good and quality rper. I admire how you write and I really think you capture Squall's personality and traits very well. I was quite intimidated by you too, but now I think you're a wonderful person. Still a little intimidated to be honest xD But I really admire you.

outofcharacter. Squall has become a second nature to write for. Don’t be intimidated whatsoever, the writer is nothing like the character. Thank you for coming to me with this, though. Squall wasn’t always easy to write for, but that’s the purpose of feeling out a character and getting your practice in with them.
